BREWSTER SESSIONS. LAMPETER. The annual licensing sessions were held a. the Town-hall here on Friday (before Messrs. D. Tivy Jones, mayor of Lampeter; Lewis Davies, and Wilmot Inglis Jones; The number of licensed houses in t.he division is 35, fourteen of which are seven-day licence? and 21 six-day licences. There are also, in addition, four grocers licences. Superinten- dent Williams stated that five licenses had been proceeded against during the past year, two of whom had been convicted. This being their first- time of conviction, he, however, made no objection to the renewal of their licences, and he had received no notice of appli- cation for new licences. The Bench renewed all the licences. Occasional licences were granted to Rees Williams, Fronfelen Arms, and John Rees, of Vale of Aeron, both in the pariah. of Llanfihangel Ystrad, and Mrs. Esther Lloyd. Blue Bell, to sell intoxicating liquors at a fair at Trefilan on the 8th inst.. and to Miss Mary Amelia Pudge. Black Lion Hotel, to sell at the agricultural show field at Lampeter on the 27th inst.
