Infringement of the Beer Act.Jolm Jones, butcher, and Hugh Jones, porter, both of Little Darkgate-street, were summoned for this offence.-P.C. Evan Jones said that on Sunday the 12th instant, at half-past 'four o'clock in the afternoon, he went. to the White Swan Inn, and there saw the two defendants - one of them had a pint of beer in his hand. Both of them drank out of the same mug. The keeper of that house, Catherine Edwards, late of Tycoed had been fined at the last petty sessions for keeping her house open during prohibited hours. The defendants were fined 2s. 6d., and costs, each.
