LAMPETER. - AWFULLY SUDDEN DEATH. An inquest was held on Saturday, the 8th ult., before Mr. Abel Evans, deputy coroner, on view of the body of Mr. Thomas Saunders, of Undergrove, who was found dead in the water closet at the George Inn, in that town. It appeared that the deceased came to the town early that morning as usual, and had been talking to several persons, and did not complain of indisposition. The Jury after viewing the body retired to the White Hart Inn, where several witnesses were examined. Mr. Charles Thomas, Cambrian Cottage, de- posed that he was the first person who saw the deceased after the alarm was g iven, and was convinced at first sight that he was dead: he had fallen off the seat, and was on the floor in a doubled position. Medical assistance was immediately sent for, and as Mr. Evans was not at home, Mr. Rowlands, Strata Florida, was promptly in attendance, and immediately pronounced life to be extinct. The jury returned a verdict of Died from the visitation of God.
