CURIOUS INCIDENT. - On Saturday night last, just as Mr. Samuel Bluck, the proprietor of the Prince of Wales Hotel, Borth, had closed his premises and was about to it down to supper, he and his wife heard a strange noise proceeding from the baby's crib, and on going to it, saw a stoat sitting on the edge watching the eyes of the baby, who way sleeping in the crib. The stoat, on seeing Mr. Bluck, made off and was lost under the kitchen grate. Shortly afterwards, when Mr. and Mrs. Bluck were sitting at supper, they saw the stoat run up the side of the window, and Mr. Bluck managed to kill it. It is believed that, had it not been disturbed, it would have fixed itself upon the child.
