THE MYSTERIOUS CASE OF DROWNING AT CARDIGAN. The inquest on the body of Henry Jones which was found on the mud on the banks of the Tivy, was held at the Castle Inn, Bridge-end Cardigan, on Tuesday evening, before Mr. Ivor Evans, coroner. There was no evidence as to how the deceased got to the railway premises from where he was last seen alive, nearly a quarter of a mile distant. The night was very dark, and he would have had to traverse the entire length of the station yard to get to the place where his hat and stick were found. The jury returned a verdict that the deceased was accidentally drowned by falling from the railway into the River Tivy
