Description: Transcript:Owen Jones, landlord of the the Cambrian Inn, and Margaret his wife were charged by Anne Stuard wife of John Stuard, hawker, with an assault. Complainant said she went to defendant's house for lodgings and agreed for a bed at 1s, which she paid, she also gave the female defendant 30s to keep till the morning. Complainant paid for two quarts of beer, and on refusing to pay for more the defendants abused her. The defendants denied the assault and said the complainant was drunk, and they were compelled to turn her out of the house. The case was dismissed.
