ABERYSTWYTH NARROW ESCAPE FROM BEING KILLED BY LIGHTNING. On the morning of Saturday last, about 4 o'clock, the inhabitants of this town were aroused by a very loud clap of thunder, and those who were already awake, saw, a few minutes before the thunder, a very vivid flash of lightning, which struck the house of Mr. Hugh Nightingale, of the Craven Inn[sic: Crown Inn], situate in Northgate-street, in this town, The electric fluid broke through the ceilings into his bedroom and struck his bed broke the bedsteads into pieces, and burnt the hangings, and still Mr. Nightingale and his wife, who were in the bed, were left alive, untouched, only they were very much frightened,
