Notes:Cardigan branch founded 1904

"An adult branch of the Church of England Temperance Society, in connec- tion with St. Mary's Church, was formed at a public meeting held at the National School on Tuesday week last. The vicar (the Rev. D. J. Evans), presided over a fair attendance, and delivered a stirring address. Miss Ella North has kindly undertaken the duties of secretary. Many of those present signed the pledge of the Society, and it is to be hoped that their example will be followed by many others." WGWWA 28 Jan 1904
