"Demand for Old China.�At the sale of the effects of an old lady named Mrs. Rowlands, late landlady of the Noyaddwilym Arms, Cardigan, which took place last week, there was a keen competition for the possession of old china offered. Jugs (large and small), averaged 10s. each, pairs up to 15s., while a set of three went for a guinea. Some old pic- tures also realized good prices." CN 22 April 1904
