Summary: "The Six Bells," was the name of an inn on the far side of the "Green" just across the brook. Here lived a well remembered Sexton." 'Philip Sidney' WGWWA 15 Aug 1901
The 1888 map shows a brook running down the middle of the street and a bridge across it near where the roundabout now is. The 'Green' was presumably the area in front of the pubs. Six Bells was presumably in what is now Prospect Place.
It may be relevant - Llanbadarn Church had a peal of six bells.
