A Cardiganshire Scare The little seaside village of Llangranog, in Cardiganshire, was thrown into great excitement this week by the arrival of two visitors, a, lady and gentleman, answering fairly oloseJy to the portraits and description of Dr. Crippen and Miss Le Neve. The party in question arrived at the Ship Inn on Monday. Several visitors were of the impression that they were the wanted persons, but no steps were taken until Mr. Griffiths, the village postman, wired to the authorities. On the local police making investigations ample proof were obtained that the lady and gentlemen were bona fide visitors. The gentleman, it seems, is connected with a well-known business firm in London. The pair were naturally annoyed at the suspicion, and they leave the place to-day (Friday) bearing a not too pleasant impression of their few days' stay.
