PONTRHYDFENDIGAID. Court Leet. On Friday, Dec. 3rd,, the Court Leet of the district of Pontrhydfendigaid was held at New Inn. The Lord of the Manor, the Earl of Lisburne, was represented by Mr Gardiner, the popular agent of the Crosswood Estate. The jury of the ancient court having been sworn, and Mr. Thomas Jones, Old Abbey, elected as foreman, the court went through its usual work with justice and perfect peace. After finishing its work to the satisfaction of all present, the judge and the jury retired to the Red Lion Hotel to partake of an excellent dinner provided by Mr. Gardiner and prepared by Mr. and Mrs. Jones, the present proprietors of the Hotel, who have newly taken it.
