INQUEST.-On the 4th August an inquest was held at the Red Lion Llanwnen before Dr Rowland, Coroner, on view of the body of Evan Thomas, a cowman, who on the 2nd instant was superintending the making of a hay rick and fell from the top of the rick alighting on his feet on a platform or scaffold alongside. He then fell headlong on the ground and in spite of all medical skill of Doctors Davies and Evans the poor fellow expired in twenty-four hours. A Verdict of Accidental Death was returned.
