MALICIOUS TRESPASS. William Lewis v. Evan Evans, Sarah, his wife (of Llwastypark)[sic:Lluest-parc], and Mary Davies Wm. Lewis, sworn: I live at the Miner's Arms, Ystumtuen. I have let a house to the defendant, and I hold the land myself- The defendants have done injury to my field by throwing stones and taking carts over it, and they have diverted the water from its regular course. I have seen the defendant's children turning the water from its natural course. I have seen them doing so lately.-Evan Evans bound in £5 to keep the peace for six months William Lewis bound in the sum of £5 to keep the peace for six months. The costs were divided and the police fees disallowed." AO 29 April 1865

"DISORDERLY HOUSE. Superintendent Lloyd v. William Lewis. P.C. Thomas Thomas, sworn, proved service of summons, a copy of which was produced. John Davies, sworn I remember on Saturday night, the 1st inst going to the Miner's Arms, Ystumtuen, at about 10 o'clock, and seeing several persons there, about ten in number. The defendant and his family were there. I heard a great disturbance there, some of the men having had a little beer, but were not drunk. Was present when David Jenkins and John Hughes had a scuffle about a stick, when they both fell to the ground. This was past 11 o'clock. Fined 5s., and costs. " AO 29 May 1869
