Summary: Name does imply it was a pub at some stage. Mentioned in a court report in 1909, when Peter Jenkins,a collier, gave it as his address. 1901 and 1911 Census was home to a bootmaker (Nathanial Jones).

2018 there is a 'Drover's House' in Llangeitho, near the roundabout. Same place? Probably not - as there are references to a Drover's Arms pub in Nantcwnlle

Notes: 1876
"David Jones Fforest, Caron, was charged with having been a; the Drovers' Arms, Nantcwnlle, on October 9th during illegal hours. The defendant was not present in court, his brother appearing in his stead P.S. Roberts said he saw the defendant in the house on the night in question. He tried to awaken the defendant, who was sleeping, and Jones mattered, in a husky voice, "Llanfihangel" (laughter). The defendant afterwards stated that he had been walking till two o'clock on the previous morning, and was very sleepy. The summons was withdrawn by Superintendent Lloyd, the bench expressing an opinion that there was no proof of drunkenness." Aber Obs 4 Nov 1876

"I MORGAN EVANS, of Drover's Arms, Pen-uwch, Llangeitho, hereby give notice to the public, that I will not be responsible for any debts contracted by Jane Evans, my wife after this date. (Signed) MORGAN EVANS. (Witness) THOMAS JONES" AO 14 Jan 1882

1899
"TABLES TURNED.-David Edward Davies, Tancoed, Bettws Leiki charged Peter Jenkins, Drovers Arms, Llangeitho, with assault. Having heard the evidence the Bench dismissed the case, and ordered complainant to pay costs. Another charge preferred against the defendant of trespassing in search of game at Tancoed, was also dismissed." WGWWA 30 Nov 1899

"NOTICE, TO FARMERS AND HORSE-BREEDERS DANIEL JENKINS will be staying at Drover's Arms, Llangeitho, on his Twelfth Annual Visit from 14th May until 1st June. " WGWWA 19 May 1910
